Summary
One identity I am proud of is being Moroccan. Growing up I never was not connected with my native tongue or where my parents are from regardless of being born in New York but it wasn't until I got older then I realized how much of my identity was being Moroccan. From the cultural difference, different cuisines and even how multilanguage morocco is. One identity that I'm proud of but do struggle with is being muslim. Racism affects various communities, including Muslims and I've had my fair share of encounters either first hand experiencing some sort of racist remark or watching it happen in my community.
2. One thing I was shocked to learn was that Latinos trail behind Asian and White learners in terms of higher education and learning success, primarily due to their delayed start to school also out of any ethnic group they are least likely to attend preschool.
3. Fernanda conveys a first-person perspective of identity as a Latinx woman in the US. She speaks on it by confronting misconceptions, presumptions and encouraging the audience to learn more about the Latinx experience in the US and their diverse community.

I agree that racism are heavily affecting the communities and I’ve faced a lot racism.
