Some New literacies that helped me with my schooling in the past and still currently would be Information Literacy. Knowing how to successfully evaluate and search for information from digital sources has helped me immensely on projection, conducting research properly and confirming the credibility of my sources to be legit.

Yes, I have had to assist someone with technology. In their perspective I believe It's not simple to learn how to use new technology when you're used to a certain system, but in my experience, my mother benefited from learning how to use a touch screen phone.

One New literacy I cannot live without is either health literacy or digital literacy.
