We are pleased to announce the launch of a self-paced Brightspace Training for BMCC Faculty course. This course is intended for BMCC faculty and staff looking for an asynchronous way to learn about Brightspace. More details can be found below. To join the course, please complete this enrollment request form.
We have received confirmation that the bulk migration of Spring 2024 courses from Blackboard to Brightspace has completed. Thanks for your patience during the process. You should now see course content in Brightspace stretching from Summer 2022 through Spring 2024, and have the option to copy from there into your Fall 2024 or practice courses (instructions for Brightspace -> Brightspace copying here). If you find any courses missing, please let us know.
BMCC and CUNY continue to offer training and support, including structured workshops and drop-in support. Some highlights are listed below and you can view the complete training/support calendar here.
BMCC August Brightspace Intensive
This multi-session workshop will meet twice a day (10 – 11:30 and 1 – 2:30) for four consecutive days starting August 12. All meetings will take place on Zoom. The workshop will be co-facilitated by faculty members and CETLS/Digital Education staff. Register here.

Brightspace Q&A
Our Zoom Q&A sessions are an opportunity to learn from colleagues in small groups facilitated by a Brightspace faculty fellow. You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and share your screen in Zoom breakout rooms.
BMCC Drop-in Support
Digital Education staff will be on hand to troubleshoot Brightspace issues, answer questions, and give tips on preparing your courses. Zoom drop-in support takes place on Tuesdays (10 – 11:30 am), Wednesdays (12:30 – 2 pm), and Thursdays (1 – 2:30 pm). In-person drop-in support takes place at varying times (see calendar for more information).
