Happy new year! We’re writing to let you know about some upcoming training opportunities for Brightspace:
- CUNY will offer Brightspace demo sessions on three dates: January 10 (12 pm – 1pm), January 18 (1 pm – 2 pm), and January 23 (11 am – 12 pm). Registration is required for these sessions.
- CUNY hands-on training will begin in February. The basic training series includes sessions focused on specific topics, such as engaging learners and assessing learning, which will be repeated throughout the spring semester. You can view the training schedule and register for sessions on the CUNY Brightspace site.
- BMCC is offering Brightspace course preparation sessions on Zoom every Friday in January, starting tomorrow, January 5 at 10 am. Come to these sessions for guidance about working with your courses that have been migrated from Blackboard to Brightspace. Register here.
We are continuing to add resources to our Brightspace migration website and are in the process of developing an asynchronous training course for faculty.
