Hello, my name is Fransheska Vargas, my major is in ECE (infant/toddler). I love to play piano and to spend time with my kids and family, by the way I have three kids, 1 year old boy, 4 years old boy and a 10 years old girl. Sometimes it gets a little bit difficult with my job, school and kids but I do the best I can.
I came to this country when I was 12 years old in 2008 I’m from the Dominican Republic and I have a big family. Last year was a bit rough for me because my grandfather passed away after 3 months in ICU. He was a very important person to me because he raised me . He was the joy of the family and the one who always kept us together.
My favorite place in NYC is central park. What’s cool about Central Park is that it has a lot of interesting things to see, like the pretty Bow Bridge and the cool Bethesda Terrace. It’s like a mix of nature and history all in one place.
Francheska — Welcome, I’m happy that you are a member of our learning community! I am so sorry for your loss; losing a loved one is always hard and when it is someone very important to us. Central Park is a very diverse place that has so many places to discover & explore! I applaud you — being a mom of 3, working, and going to school — it’s a lot to juggle!
