Summary of crimes listed above: The type of crimes that are most likely to be reported over the past week doesn’t show a definite answer to what crime is being committed more but it does give me a thought on what would be most common. For instance, two shootings happened on the same day, one was from an officer who shot a man who he thought had a gun and was aiming at him and the other was a subway shooting that took the life of one and wounded 5 others. Even though the other articles don’t match what happened each of the articles has at least some violence may it be physical violence or verbal violence, take the case of Donald Trump it isn’t physical violence but people are trying to get the identities of the witnesses when they are supposed to be anonymous, then there is the physical violence which shows in the Indian university and the Russian drone bombing. These articles may not be the same as in shooting or stabbing but they show a theme of violence. This does not mean that the stories next week or the week after that won’t be different from this week but it does help us identify what is becoming increasingly common and what is dying down.
