Please complete the 10-question quiz on thesis statements. Students have 90 minutes to complete the quiz. Once the quiz has closed, it will not be reopened and will no longer be visible to students. Quizzes cannot be made up. Quiz will be available from 9:00 Thursday, July 17 through midnight, Sunday, July 20. Once the quiz has closed, it will be unavailable to students.
To access the quiz, navigate to your Brightspace course. On the homepage, click the “Review Quizzes” module. Then, select Quiz 1.

The first essay for this course involves a multi-layered process in which you will evaluate a sample literary essay. In effect, you will be playing the role of professor.
