I agree with you because as soon as the villagers saw the man, they left what they were doing and went to help the man. Symbolism is a good word to describe it and the meaning of beauty. I also liked the fact that you said literature has an impact on human nature because it’s true in a way of how they felt in that specific moment when they saw this handsome drowned man.
