Follow these steps to get started in our course.

This video is a brief introduction of the course. We will do a more detailed intro in class.
Join/Login
This class will use two main sites:
- The BMCC OpenLab
- Blackboard
OPENLAB: While you can view this class site on the OpenLab without being a member, you won’t be able to add content or participate in discussions (required). To become a member of the site:
- Sign up for the OpenLab (instructions)
- Go to our Class Profile Page
- Click Request Membership (you have to be a logged in member of the OpenLab to see this)
- After I approve the request, you will be a member.
BLACKBOARD: You should have access to this through your CUNYfirst Login. If you can’t log in to Blackboard, contact the BMCC Service Desk.

Get Your Computer Set Up
You need access to a computer (preferably yours you have access to each day). You will also need software. To start get these on your computer:
- Zoom
- Download the Zoom Client: Desktop and Mobile
- Logging in to Zoom (BMCC Account)
- Audacity (free)
