Hi Jesus, I agree with your thoughts on Oseki staying for Taro. I believe if she could have divorced and gotten to still keep in contact with her son she would have easily made the decision.

I also believe Isamu purposefully chose to marry someone of lower status for control. HE seems to have used her for a child and someone to make him feel superior.
