  1. GIselle Valentine

My name is Giselle but i preferred to be called Gee i am currently a Case Manager at a homeless shelter for youth, prior to that i worked 8 years in youth development. Now that I’m older i prefer to experience different places and i like nature. My pronouns are she /her. I have always been interested in women through out history and otherwise. Women liberators and revolutionaries. I am a lot of things but i feel my most prominent experience has been that of a woman. Broadening my experience is that i present as masculine. I am taking this class to gain knowledge and understand women with different experiences. I dislike people who are indifferent or participate in other people’s suffering, math and heights. I am interested in getting a degree in psychology or social work. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and my father migrated here from Puerto Rico, my mother from Colombia. I value community and living by my own set of morals. I also value peoples freedom and individuality, i hope to one day own my own non-profit.

I also am not a fan of people who participate in peoples suffering or make a profit off of it and i also despise math. Like you inspiring the youth is a goal i have in mind especially in Bronx where there is not outlets for the youth anymore no art programs of any kind , so i plan on making a change with that in the future.
