Bearing the whole responsibility of looking after the house and family, women during the women suffrage era must have endured so much pain and some kind of confusion. I could not imagine myself living in such a time. I would have to do what I am told and never have anything for myself. It is very refreshing to find out that there many considerate people including some men who went out of their way to offer help to women who were unable to speak for themselves in such circumstances. Untold stories of women in the suffrage women are truly educative and path opener for others like me who are unaware of some of what are predecessors had to go through to earn us certain privileges we somehow take advantage of today. This documentary digs up details on how women in the past endured oppression. Ida B. Wells, Abigail Scott, Elizabeth Cady Stanton amongst many others stood their grounds and made sure their voices heard no matter the circumstance. I admire such will power and confidence. As stated, that certain privileges and rights are still yet to be achieved, but even with regards to that, it takes time. So much has been achieved, and so much is yet to be achieved but we will get there.
