Hello everyone! My name is Crystal. This is my third semester at BMCC and I am currently taking my last prerequisite for the nursing program. I have always dreamed of becoming a neonatal intensive care unit nurse. I would love to spend my time helping and caring for tiny babies. I have lived in New York my whole life. I was born and raised in the Bronx. My family recently moved to Pennsylvania and I stayed behind because of work and school. It has been such a big change for me and I cannot visit them as much as I want to because I am so busy. I love to read romance novels and watch horror movies. Lastly, I love to spend time with my four dogs. I don’t feel as lonely when they’re around. I am looking forward to this class and getting to know everyone!

Hi Crystal
You’re one step closer to achieving your dream! I love romance novels too, they’re currently my favorite source of entertainment. I love that you have four dogs, that seems like a dream. I’m sure they are the best especially when you’re missing your family. You’ll be a great nurse, thank you for sharing your story!
Hello Crystal! I think it’s so nice that you want a neonatal ICU nurse. Its such a brave job and you’re gonna do great! I love reading romance novels as well, i also read quite a lot of horror. I definitely understand what you mean by not feeling so alone when your dogs are around. I feel that way when i’m around my cat. Im looking forward to hearing more from you!
Hi Crystal – Thanks for sharing your intro. Animals are great companions and can really help with loneliness đ
Hello I like your response because you make me realize that we don’t have to be afraid to changes, they are hard but we can do it. Thank you so much and I wish you the best.
Hi Crystal, thanks for sharing your info. It is rough when you can not be with your family as much but you are very brave!
