An interview with Jessica Rosenthal was conducted on March 18, 2021, in New York, NY, by Ines Anous for the Becoming the Change Interview Project.
Jessica Rosenthal is a former student of the Accelerated Studies in Associate Programs (ASAP) and an alumna of the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) and Hunter College. She studied liberal arts at BMCC and political science and public policy at Hunter. While at BMCC, she also worked as an ASAP tutor providing support in English. Jessica was born in San Antonio, Texas. Her parents moved to the United Kingdom when she was one-year old. At the age of twenty-one, Jessica decided to move to New York City. In this interview, she reflects on the importance of having empathy and her aspirations of going to law school and working in the public sector.
