Frequently Asked Questions

Why did you choose this topic?

I chose this topic because there are many parents who are not involved in their children’s education because they do not receive the support they need. There are many parents who don’t go to school meetings because they know they won’t be able to communicate with teachers the way they would like because of the language issue.

Why is this subject meaningful to you?

This is significant to me because when parents are not involved in their children’s education, the children are the most harmed because they do not receive the support they need, which is why there needs to be a change soon. There needs to be support for parents and for children so that with better communication you can get better support for children and children can have better academic development

How will this topic impact you as an early childhood professional?

This topic impacts me as an early childhood educator because in the future, knowing that there are problems like these helps me prevent the problem from getting bigger. It also helps me think of strategies to be able to create a good relationship with parents and with children. It also makes me realize that it is not only about teaching but also about creating connections, giving better support and also helps me to think about how to act in certain situations to find a solution in the best way.
