As you\u2019re reading, consider these questions:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Which aspects of open pedagogy most resonate with you and your teaching values?<\/li>\r\n<li>How might you enact these aspects of open pedagogy in your course?<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Share your thoughts by commenting on <a href=\"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/teaching-on-the-openlab-summer-2022\/open-pedagogy\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1859\">this blog post<\/a> on our site.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong>WordPress Skills<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Create a welcome announcement on your own course site<br \/><\/strong>Go to your course site and create a new blog post with the category \u201cAnnouncement.\u201d If you\u2019d like, include an image or video to welcome students to your class. Your published post should appear in the Announcements section of your site. You can refer to <a href=\"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/teaching-on-the-openlab-summer-2022\/creating-and-editing-posts-and-pages\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1379\">this web page<\/a> for instructions about how to create a new post.<br \/><br \/><\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Create a post on the Teaching on the OpenLab website<\/strong><br \/>All members of our community are \u201cauthors\u201d on our site, which means that you can write and publish blog posts. For this activity, we invite you to share your teaching philosophy as a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=4wordpedagogy&amp;src=typed_query&amp;f=live\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">#4WordPedagogy<\/a> (e.g., \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mchris4duke\/status\/726538868070051840\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Who\u2019s missing?
