This means, when answering the questions, you can use all of the materials available on our class website. However, <em>you must not use any outside information. Any outside information will be not given credit. Also, everything in your answers must be in your own words.<\/em><\/strong> No quotes from any of the readings or videos (you must paraphrase, put everything in your own words).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Note 2: <strong>The typical answer should be in the range of 5-7 sentences minimum. <\/strong>Please, no 2-3 sentence responses, which would usually earn no more than 50% partial credit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" id=\"block-9c456ce5-64b8-41d9-9c13-62bc86e6606a\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-15c1497d-a270-4fec-803f-b0a3ecd86653\">Question 1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-2ece6f44-1019-4f4f-b127-42caaff40302\">Is burning the US flag protected by the First Amendment? Explain by referring to the relevant court case discussed in the reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-7ca3b044-5031-4826-86aa-7dc3c1ebbd28\">Question 2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-e8e45066-e7a6-4955-aede-8a9d9dcc5d5a\">What does it mean when someone says \u201cI\u2019m taking the Fifth\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-bbf3dec7-cec5-423b-bbe9-f1e5a1508a7f\">Question 3<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the Patriot Act was first passed, the argument has been made, that <strong>it violates certain parts of the Bill of Rights.<\/strong> Choose two parts of the Patriot Act that we read about in Module 9, and:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Explain what each of the two mean (what does each of these parts\u00a0<em>do<\/em>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Show which Amendment(s) they could be violating and\u00a0<em>why<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-9eaa5145-1482-4556-afb2-4a3310c1922c\">Question 4<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-8ef36e89-df88-4856-bf52-aa98cc60a324\">What did the Supreme Court decide in the Wal-Mart case we studied? And more importantly,&nbsp;<em>how did it justify its decision<\/em>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-a9172ffd-692c-410b-bb2c-02f00c2e00be\">Question 5<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-e1b40ae1-58c8-4380-9c38-af4424650d4e\">According to MLK, should the law be always obeyed?
