The court case we&#8217;re studying is very interesting case involving a class-action lawsuit, where the key question revolved around the role played by sex and gender at the workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">READ &#8211; Reading 11.1 &#8211; &#8220;Sex Class Action&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This article is the key part of this lesson. Who is suing, and for what reason?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Detail some of the specific accusations against Wal-Mart.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">NOTE: this question will very likely appear on our second exam:<\/mark> What did the Supreme Court decide in the Wal-Mart case? And more importantly,&nbsp;<em>how did it justify its decision<\/em>? (HINT: the key word here is \u201ccommonality\u201d (and how it related to \u201cclass-action lawsuit\u201d).
