What\u2019s new about it, how is it different from traditional wars?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Informed by P. Williams in \u201cThis Dangerous Patriot\u2019s Game\u201d, the war on terror is a new type of war because it is a war against the mind. The war on terror can translate to a war on anyone who makes us feel afraid. The war on terror is different from traditional wars because this war has no specificity, it is not a war on land, idols or resources, but a war being guided on fear, which is varying from person to person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li>In what ways does the \u201cRoving Wiretaps\u201d of the Patriot Act seem to violate the Bill of Rights? Which amendment(s) does it seem to violate and why?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Roving Wiretaps seem to violate the Bill of Rights because it can allow investigators to potentially obtain information from innocent parties that might have only casually met the suspect. This seems to violate Amendment IV,\u201cThe right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.\u201d because it can lead to privacy violations of parties who have come in contact with the accused.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li>What about \u201cSneak and Peek\u201d Warrants?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sneak and Peek Warrants could potentially violate the Bill of Rights because it allows investigators to search a suspect&#8217;s premises without immediately notifying the suspect.
