Some people have more skills, education, or family help, so they can get land and money. Others don\u2019t, so they stay poor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I don\u2019t fully agree. Sometimes people work hard but still stay poor. So it\u2019s not always fair or equal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;4.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The first goal of the government, according to Madison, is to <strong>protect property and the rich<\/strong>. That\u2019s different from today, where people think government should help everyone equally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;5.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I\u2019m not surprised. Madison and the others didn\u2019t want full democracy because they were scared the poor would vote to take from the rich.
