I say that because I n the late 1700s\u20131800s, American society was formally unequal in ways that would be illegal today. Back then class was shaped by slavery, race, gender limits, and landownership, mean while in today\u2019s society things is more based on income, education, and occupation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The people who wrote the Constitution so afraid of democracy because the farmers, the workers, women, the poor etc\u00a0 had economic interests that threatened the wealthy elite.
