I learned that power is shared between the federal and state governments, with each level having different responsibilities and areas of authority. The federal also know as the national government handles issues that affect the entire country, such as defense and foreign policy, while state governments manage local matters like educational systems and law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Based on my research Federal government shaped the actions of New York State and its local governments by using financial funding, regulatory condition and public health directives, such as guidance from the CDC and funding provided through the CARES Act of 2020 to ensure that state and local actions aligned with national objectives.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">U.S. Department of the Treasury.
