FORMATTING FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT: Use the title format&nbsp;<strong>\u201c[FirstName] [LastName] portfolio step 1\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;and select the Category&nbsp;<strong>\u201cWeek 1 \u2013 Portfolio (Step 1)\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gather, organize<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>describe<\/strong>&nbsp;(see Portfolio checklist section on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/mmp460-1100-f22\/week-1\/\">week1 of the class website<\/a>) the projects you want to feature in your portfolio. Make sure each file has a meaningful name (i.e: NOT&nbsp;<em>untitled1.jpg)<\/em>. Create a Word or Google Doc document for the descriptions and \u201cAbout\u201d section (<a href=\"https:\/\/uxplanet.org\/4-tips-for-structuring-case-studies-in-your-design-portfolio-f7436fd460ec\">case study<\/a>&nbsp;is optional). Everything should be placed in a single folder and shared via URL in the Reply box of this discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are already using an online platform for your portfolio, you may submit the URL instead of the folder described above. Make sure each piece has a description. Include any piece that currently isn\u2019t on your site and that you are thinking of adding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the first step of the portfolio assignment (worth 15% of your total grade \u2013 see grading rubric&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1PN-WZpzaSPOW160KrVLnASwOSyfd9dlT39BQ_0ubmqY\/edit?usp=sharing\">here<\/a>). In the coming weeks, you will edit and format your work. The final version is due on week 14.
