If you don\u2019t have another idea, the title could simply be the name of your character. The credits should include your name (i.e:&nbsp;<em>Character design and animation by FirstName LastName<\/em>) and any Creative Commons resources you may have used \u2013 music track, sound effects, photo etc. (i.e:&nbsp;<em>\u201cthunderclap\u201d by elmoustachio<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experiment with the text animation properties described on this page. Have fun, but also make sure the typography, design and motion of your credit\/title sequences fit the rest of your animated short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Format<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the following composition settings: 24fps, width: 12880 | height: 720px.\u00a0Save your .aep file and export your animation. Upload your animation to Vimeo or Youtube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Submission<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Create a new post on your OpenLab portfolio. Your post should include a\u00a0<strong>link to your Vimeo or Youtube video<\/strong>\u00a0as well as a\u00a0<strong>short description<\/strong>\u00a0(what did you add\/change from the previous version. Reflections on your process, challenges, goals etc. are also welcome).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This assignment is due next week. Submit the following files on the following platforms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Blackboard: .aep file and all .swf and .ai files imported into it and a link to your Open Lab post.<\/li><li>OpenLab discussion board: Reply to the \u201cFinal Project: text\u201d discussion post with a link to your Open Lab post<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This is part of the final project. It will be taken into account in the final grade for the&nbsp;project (see full grading rubric&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1GrIG9OlQbbWCn1rmbWAh0PRt4v6FTH9wqQln4TQdDdM\/edit?usp=sharing\">here<\/a>).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EXTRA-CREDIT:<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final project : Adding sound to the walk cycle and preparing for the presentation<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Subject<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Create a soundtrack for your walk cycle<\/strong>. It should be layered and evoke the mood you want to convey through your piece\/character. Here are a few ideas\/things to consider: footsteps, background noise (traffic for the city, birds, wind, water etc. for nature), voice over narration, music etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consider starting the soundtrack during the title and ending it after\/during the credits.&nbsp;<strong>Use fades<\/strong>&nbsp;(see tutorial above) so that the start and end aren\u2019t too abrupt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure any music\/sound effects you use are in the public domain or under a Creative Commons license and don\u2019t &nbsp;forget to&nbsp;<strong>credit the original authors in your credit sequence<\/strong>.
