
The character that I created was a small wind up toy that wakes up in the future. I created a simple idle animation by spinning the key in it’s back, as well as a 2 frame walking cycle, and a jumping up and down sprite.

Nice work, this is a fun concept, the color choices work well, and I like the black outline, that helps the character stand.
The wind up toy idea is great, I think it would be even better if you extended your walk animation out to add the key spinning to it, so that with each step the key continues to turn! The design kind of reminds me of the old NES game DigDug’s player character. Also a little like Bomberman as well.
