Genshin Impact is an open-world action game developed and published by miHoYo. It was released on September 28, 2020, being free to play and available through PC, Mobile, and and PlayStation 4.

Goals

The goal of this game is basically the main story line. You may select either the sister or the brother of the twins, and the story makes you travel through the world trying to find your sibling. You’ll need to travel through regions, though only two are available at the moment. The game encourages the player to explore the map, as it is a way to gain rewards and experience for your Adventurer’s Level.

Obstacles

An obstacle in your game is your Adventurer’s Level. It is your overall level, as it impacts your own world, no one else’s. If your level is too low, you cannot continue the main story quest as it has restrictions.

Rewards

As you level up and continue to explore, you’ll see that there are a lot of chests, perhaps locked behind a combat scenario or a puzzle. Some may be unlocked already, as the only restriction is to find it. After completing the task, the lock around the chest disappears, allowing you to take everything it holds. Your world also becomes increasingly difficult as it scales with your Adventurer’s Level, though that also means you’ll be able to receive higher tier drops from the monsters and opponents you slay. You can also gain special currency, used to gain a chance to get a new character or weapon via gatcha.

The game I’ve been playing the most is Overwatch, Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, the theme of the game is about hero shooters with two team of six players, every hero has their own unique ability and style, the game was released in 2015.

The goals of each game mode are different, the one I’m showing below is Escort, it is a game mode in which the attacking team must escort a payload to a delivery point, while the defending team attempts to prevent them until the time runs out, I was trying to prevent the attacker’s side from getting to the checkpoint.

The obstacle of this game is to fight the enemy team with your teammates, team work is the key to succeed in this game, there are different roles in one game which are DPS, TANK, HEALER, these three roles are very important in the game, the only way to make it work is to fight with your team, team work makes the dream work in Overwatch.

The rewards of this game is leveling up and ranking up, the ranking system is for competitive players, you gain points by winning games but if you lose, you lose points too, you get loot boxes every time you level up and there is a chance that you can get a skin for free without having to pay anything, grinding gives you rewards in this game specially when there are events going on.

The most recent game I’ve played is a fighting game called UFC 4. This game was released on August 14, 2020, by EA Sports.

Goal: I’ve recently downloaded this game and so far I’ve only played career mode. The goal of the career mode is to create your own fighter and fight your way to the top of the league.

Obstacle: The main obstacles are other fighters that you are fighting throughout your career. Most of the fighters have different skills and moves that will make it harder for you. Additionally, your fans will judge you based on how you fight and communicate with other fighters.

Reward: As you proceed through your career you will get different rewards. The better you fight the better rewards you get. These rewards include money, skill points, rare clothes and etc.

The game I played recently is Overwatch on the PS5. It is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter game that came out in 2016.

Fortnite was launched in 2017 and developed by Epic Games. It first started to be available for PS4, XBOX One, PC. then later for Smartphones devices, Switch, PS5, XBOX Series X/S. It is the battle royal and first-person shooter game.

Obstacles

The obstacle of the game is the other players that try to kill you character in the game.

Goals

In this game, a player must survive from the storm, avoid other players from killing you, and shoot 99 opponents to the last one to get VICTORY ROYALE.

Rewards

During this game, you will get some rewards such as increasing XP to reach the level, unlocking things from the battle pass: skins, V-bucks, axes, etc.

The game I chose was Apex Legends, made by the up and coming Respawn Entertainment in 2019. It’s a first person shooter battle royale game, based in the same universe as the famous Titanfall series.

Goals

The main goal in Apex Legends is to be the last surviving team and become the champion.

Obstacles

Your main obstacles are other players and the damaging circle that is closing in on you. You have to fight your way through or get destroyed by the circle closing in.

Rewards

You get rewarded with XP and Stat Points each kill you get and each time you revive or save your teammates. It is a team based game afterall and you need them in order to succeed.
