You can use this and other effects for various types of movement that would be hard or tedious to do with keyframes.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/creativecloud.adobe.com\/cc\/learn\/after-effects\/web\/add-animation-to-shape-layers?locale=en\">Add Animation Properties to Shape Layers<\/a> Tutorial<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Path-based Animation<\/strong>: in this style, you create a path (you can draw with the pen tool or others) and then apply that path to the position of an object so it moves along the path.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/creativecloud.adobe.com\/cc\/learn\/after-effects\/web\/animate-along-path?locale=en\">Animate an object to follow along a path<\/a> Tutorial<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Text Animation:<\/strong> There are some separate properties and Effects that you can animate for text. One is to use Animation Presets, another is to use Animators to animate the text letter by letter or the entire text.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/creativecloud.adobe.com\/cc\/learn\/after-effects\/web\/creating-animating-text\">Create and Animate Text<\/a> Tutorial<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips and Tricks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preview Text Animation Presets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to do this you will need to install Bridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the Creative Cloud App<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on All Apps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to Bridge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Install<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This will take up about 2GB on your computer&#8217;s drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once Bridge is installed to view the text animation presets<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to After Effects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the Effects and Presets Window<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the three bars next to the title Effects and Presets in the window<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Browse Presets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bridge should open to the presets (in folders).
