I wanted the video game to sound classic like an 8-bit RPG type game. I recorded my voice to really make the story clear. My character is so invested in the game, that it takes his friend calling him to explain what&#8217;s happening outside. Although my character&#8217;s cat was aware of the storm brewing in the background. I tried to make the storm silent at first and then make it more noticeable once my character lowers the volume of the game to talk to is friend&#8230; right before the power goes out! Thankfully, it was nothing too serious and I wanted to end it on a light note instead of a full downer.
