Either 8-bit or a game trying to callback to that era of video games. The premise was the player interacting with a character in this world. I tried to replicate the audio of the text scroll that appears when you approach a character and they speak to you and found audio similar to some video games where the player hears said character mumbling while the dialogue of what they are saying is written in text.
