We will discuss the critique process and presenting our work in process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">We will spend our class time working on the Postcard project. We will get familiar with our work stations, get started with adobe photoshop, electronic imaging, scanning \/ photo documenting images and artwork, creating and working with various file types and bringing our ideas into photoshop to produce the finished design.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bmccmma100.commons.gc.cuny.edu\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/3604\/files\/2018\/02\/5-vintage-magic-tricks-from-1964-65-new-york-worlds-fair.w1456-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-114\" src=\"https:\/\/bmccmma100.commons.gc.cuny.edu\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/3604\/files\/2018\/02\/5-vintage-magic-tricks-from-1964-65-new-york-worlds-fair.w1456-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"621\" height=\"365\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>*This Week&#8217;s Exercise &#8211; Cutting out Images in Photoshop \/ Making Graphic Assets: <\/strong>Cutting out images in various fragments is a<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0task that all graphic designers will face on a regular basis. Learning various methods for cutting out images is a necessity. We will explore, experiment and share a few methods on how.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Students will select and practice from images taken from a public domain, OER or creative commons sources on the Internet or they may use images that they have on their devices.
