Almost all social media platforms are designed to facilitate virality (i.e: Facebook\u2019s \u201clike\u201d button,&nbsp;&nbsp;Twitter\u2019s \u201cretweet\u201d button,&nbsp;Pinterest&nbsp;\u201cpin\u201d or&nbsp;Tumblr\u2019s \u201creblog\u201d option). &nbsp;Creating viral content has become an essential concern for advertisers and some marketing firms claim to specialize in the form (i.e:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thinkmodo.com\/\">Thinkmodo<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although there are no steadfast rules one can follow to identify or create viral content, a study by Jonah Berger showed that strong emotions are often at play:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cContent that evokes high-arousal positive (awe) or negative (anger or anxiety) emotions is more viral.
