I am a native Brooklyn-er and grew up by Coney Island beach for most of my youth and teenage years. On my free time, I like to read memoirs, play bass, and write! As well, I bought myself a digital camera when I was 17 and have taken photographs ever since! I am currently making a portfolio of my photography using the Open Lab project link! I highly recommend that students do this too as it will be a great way to grow a professional presence in the online world 🙂
Academic Interests
I am an undergrad student at Hunter College majoring in Art History and minoring in Computer Science. As well, I am an alumni of BMCC, holding an Associates Degree in Writing and Literature. Upon completing my undergrad years, I plan on enrolling into graduate school where I will focus on Creative Writing.
The Achievers is a cohort that honors and serves students who have demonstrated academic excellence while at BMCC. The Achievers community nurtures our students’ potential and creates programming that is reflective of their needs and interests; these include social activities, professional development, transfer readiness, and trips.
Student members have the opportunity to provide stewardship by planning and/or leading their own workshops based on their expertise. We honor each student’s unique gifts, experiences, and hopes. Active members of Achievers can build important relationships and networks that will benefit them as they graduate, transfer, and begin their careers.
