Here\u2019s what you need to do to complete this assignment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Choose an organization that you care about (perhaps it\u2019s somewhere that you\u2019ve worked or volunteered, a non-profit organization you\u2019ve made donations to, a school you\u2019ve attended, or a business whose products you really like). Do some research on this organization to find something of interest that they might like to promote to the media. Perhaps it\u2019s a new product or service they\u2019re releasing, an event that\u2019s coming up, or the need for more donations for a specific cause or building project.1<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Read this article<\/strong><\/a> from HubSpot2<\/sup> about how to write a press release, and then follow the format and formula for how to do so. Create a press release for the company of your choosing to announce to the media the update you’ve selected, above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Follow this guide<\/a><\/strong> to create a new post, and add in your assignment so that classmates can view your submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Select \u201cPromotion\u201d as the Category. All submissions will populate under the\u00a0Student Work<\/strong>\u00a0menu item (Student Work > Promotion<\/a><\/strong>).\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5.
