Trusting others breads trust-full spaces.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>People are experts on themselves. <\/strong>Everyone knows themselves best, trust them to know this.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Lead with curiosity<\/strong>. Ask questions to learn more and allow space for others to share themselves with you.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Celebrate each other<\/strong>. We are a cohort! A team! Celebrating our work is an important part.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Everyone deserves to feel welcome and safe<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong>Design multiple pathways for learning<\/strong>. There isn\u2019t one way to learn, consider other possibilities for someone to connect to.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>You aren&#8217;t supposed to\u00a0 know everything \u2013 we are here to support one another<\/strong>. It would be exhausting to try to know everything. It is okay to learn from others. It is courageous to ask for what you do not already know.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal Dignity<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong>Change is constant<\/strong>. From Author Octavia Butler and repeated by Adrienne Maree Brown \u2013 in life, the only constant is change.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Messy is okay<\/strong>. It is okay to be where you are, express ideas\/thoughts before fully formed. It is okay to have off days or not be perfect.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Hope is a discipline<\/strong>. From a Mariame Kaba quote \u2013 hope is a practice, something to work towards and maintain.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>\u00a0<strong>Rest isn\u2019t earned; you deserve rest because you are alive<\/strong>. Reminder to take care of ourselves in a world that values self-sacrifice as definition of success.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Feelings are for feeling<\/strong>. We get so caught up in the logistical to do lists of school we may forget to make time to be in our bodies or feel or connect.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>There is nothing wrong with you. <\/strong>When we feel overwhelmed it is information of a need not met, not a message to do more.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li><strong>Everyone deserves joy \u2014 everyone deserves to have their needs met<\/strong>.
