Areas of specialization include: alcohol, tobacco and abused substances, mental and emotional health, human sexuality and family living, nutrition, cardiovascular health, environmental health and health care delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Extended Course Description: <\/strong>This course is an introduction to health education with a personal health focus \u2013 this makes it relevant to all people who are concerned about their health. The course will allow you to make informed decisions about your own health and teach you ways to find information beyond what is covered in the class. We will get an introduction to public health and describe how social, economic, and environmental conditions impact your ability to have good health.
