I&#8217;m Jasmine, 20 yrs old, originally from Houston, TX. I moved to New York a little over two years ago to follow my love and passion for performing (I&#8217;m a musical theatre kid through and through). I graduated from a performing arts conservatory in the fall of 2019. Of course, with the pandemic&#8217;s start, I would soon realize that my plans would change and steer me on toward another path. I knew that I would eventually return to school, but I never thought it would look like this or be quite so soon. Nevertheless, I am thrilled to be back in a learning environment, and I hope to have the opportunity to connect with yall through this class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have found that staying creative through this time has really been the root of my personal comfort these days. Knowing that even though performing may not be possible right now, &#8220;my voice&#8221; is not lost. Feeling as though I can still be heard through simple things that I enjoy like photography, music, or painting has allowed me to witness that my own personal creativity is limitless.
