      Summarize the contributions of Émile Durkheim, Max Weber, and Karl Marx to the field of sociology.

      Emile Durkheim: Emile Durkheim theory believed that many people excel based on praise and rewards. He also believed that the study of society and culture could be studied by Sociologist to determine whether society was “healthy” or “pathological”

      Max Weber: Max Weber theory was that not only are there inequalities in the economy, but it is affecting all social classes, individuals with more political power had an advantage over education and politics.

      Karl Marx: Karl max theory was that societies were made up of social class and structure, he believed it was competition for class advancement. As well as the individuals who were already in “high class” only wanted to maintain their wealth. Social classes are made up of “Winners and losers”.
