My full name is Mattie D. Hamilton, and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I’m originally from the Bronx and I currently reside here. This might be my last year as a writing and literature major at BMCC if I decide to transfer. During the pandemic, I graduated early from high school due to an accelerated program. I jumped straight into college at sixteen years old and It was clear that I was way over my head. I’ve gotten a better grip on it though and I’m now a part time student. I plan to become an author in the future and achieve the dream my mother couldn’t. With my writing coach, I have made tons of progress and I hope to release my book series at 28 years old. The reason I am taking this class is because it’s actually required of me in order to graduate. I believe this might be very educational for me and help me learn more about feminism.
