      4. Where can you find the weekly assignments and other course materials?

      We can find most of the assignments in the open lab except for quizzes, essay submissions, and the grade book which can be found on blackboard.

      Question 6. When and where are Professor Barnes’ office hours?

      Answer: We can meet with Professor Barnes’ via Zoom every Monday from 9-10am. As well as on campus in the main building, room N482, from 10AM-12PM.

      Question 12. What are some of the key rules for posting on Conversation Time?

      Answer: Some key rules on Conversation Time are to write your full name and conversation #__ in the title format. If you want to add an image or video, you must click on “Add Media,” upload the file, then click on “Insert Into Post.” Also, before you publish your post, you have to select one category from the “Categories” panel. Make sure to not select a category from “Category Sticky.”

      What are the due dates for week 1?

      Response:

      The due date for week 1’s assignments is Thursday, September 1st. The class follows a Thurs-Thurs schedule (weekly) so all assignments should be due on Thursdays. Unless otherwise stated of course.

      What are your tips on time management for this semester?
      The tips I am giving all on time management is to organize yourself. In the beginning of every week look at what is expected from us that week and try to break it down between days so you do not overwhelm yourself or leave everything for last minute and or take a break between tasks.

      What is a cruelty-free syllabus?

      A cruelty-free syllabus is a syllabus created on assumptions that us, the students, are respected as human beings, we’re trusted, the professors want us to be successful, and that we are central to the course.
