well here we are at the end of the semester.

our last class is tomorrow MAY 5TH 11-1 on jitsi-meet. i know classes run for another week but only 0-1 people are coming to each session and seems like you all have better things to do with your time. and i know that many of you have expressed that you have a lot of work in the final weeks of the semeter to complete, and the last thing in the world i want to do is add to your burdens.  please do not come and ask me about your grades or assignments.

if you want to speak with others in the class i would remind you that i set up the discord server so you can always talk to one another 24/7. i will leave it up into the summer months, but i will shut it down if the trend of no one using it continues.

i will be online to say goodbye and good luck to any of you that want to pop by.  if you cant make it or whatever, just know that i am so happy that we have made it through this semester, and i was very honored to be your teacher.  what a weird world. i  would ask you to be curious and kind and wildly yourselves as you move through the rest of your days.

Hello professor,

It’s unfortunate to see the semester go in that way. I was really excited to finish this class in person because I’m not an online learner at all. I hope you realize that you teach us a lot, and made us see things differently (me personally) during those 7-8 weeks. The class SPE-100-1106  has been one of the most inviting environments I have experienced since I’m in this country. Thank you for representing us and teaching us in a way which resonated with our young souls. I wish you and my colleagues all of the good energies.

Hi professor, it is really sad that this is how we get to leave. I will never forget how impactful you have been and full of humor whilst at it. I’m pretty sure most of us aren’t able to learn and comprehend the material online as we would in-person, but I can vouch and say that I definitely learned alot during the in person classes.
