So from our discussion yesterday I know some of you wanted to see about reducing the number of emails you were getting each day:
to change your discussion board email settings you can :
One way is right at the bottom of the email (your recieved from our class annoucning a discussion board post) : You’ll see unsubscribe and change frequency options:
The other way is course profile > membership > Your email options; you’ll see your frequency choices there. This should work for profile discussion topics, too.
the options are:
How do you want to be notified about activity in “utopian public speaking”?
No Email
I will read all content on the web
Weekly Summary Email
Get a summary of new topics each week
Daily Digest Email
Get all the day’s activity bundled into a single email
New Topics Email
Send new topics as they arrive (but don’t send replies)
All Email
Send all activity as it arrives
You are currently set to get all email I would recomend at least having it set to New Topics or Daily Digest (where you get just 1 email a day of all the new stuff) DD is proabbly the best option here.
