Student representation and perspectives are\u00a0crucial\u00a0to the success of the committee\u2019s diversity initiatives. For more information or answers to questions, contact\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"mailto:REI@bmcc.cuny.edu\" target=\"_blank\">REI@bmcc.cuny.edu<\/a>. <strong><em>Students in this course would be excellent on this committee as we have been discussing these issues all semester!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Winter Tuition Waivers: For Eligible Students who Register by December 1<\/strong><br>BMCC is offering two tuition waivers for the Winter 2022 session starting January 3.\u00a0Both cover $210 per credit for courses that count toward the student\u2019s degree,\u00a0and students must register for those courses by December 1.\u00a0The waivers do not cover\u00a0fees and materials such as textbooks. The\u00a0<strong>Petrie\u00a0Completion Waiver<\/strong>\u00a0is for students who have one or two courses\u00a0left to complete their associate degree. The\u00a0<strong>STEM Waiver\u00a0<\/strong>is for students who are NYC residents and U.S. citizens or permanent residents at the time the waiver is applied. It applies to credit-bearing math or computer science courses, as well as any CIS course, LIN 101, MEA 201, MMP 100 and PSY 100.
