{"id":1629,"date":"2021-11-27T14:33:28","date_gmt":"2021-11-27T19:33:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/fall-2021-gws-100-170w\/?p=1629"},"modified":"2021-11-27T14:33:39","modified_gmt":"2021-11-27T19:33:39","slug":"16-stories-of-feminist-activism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/fall-2021-gws-100-170w\/2021\/11\/27\/16-stories-of-feminist-activism\/","title":{"rendered":"16 Stories of Feminist Activism"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap wp-block-paragraph\">Last year, the journal I edit, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/womensstudiesquarterly.com\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"womensstudiesquarterly.com\">Women&#8217;s Studies Quarterly<\/a><\/em>, joined with the <a href=\"https:\/\/centerforstudyofwomen.commons.gc.cuny.edu\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/centerforstudyofwomen.commons.gc.cuny.edu\/\">Center for the Study of Women and Society<\/a> at the Graduate Center CUNY, and the journal, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/anthrosource.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/journal\/26437961\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/anthrosource.onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/journal\/26437961\">Feminist Anthropology<\/a><\/em>, to recognize and celebrate the international <a href=\"https:\/\/16dayscampaign.org\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/16dayscampaign.org\/\">16 Days Campaign<\/a>. We welcomed stories on any activism-related subject in a multitude of media and received many amazing submissions that we are so excited to share with everyone.&nbsp;This year, we are also joined by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nwsa.org\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nwsa.org\/\">The National Women&#8217;s Studies Association<\/a> as the central host for this initiative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have started sharing the <a href=\"https:\/\/16daysoffeministactivism.wordpress.com\/stories-from-2021\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/16daysoffeministactivism.wordpress.com\/stories-from-2021\/\">16 stories for 2021<\/a> on social media and they are now all available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/16daysoffeministactivism.wordpress.com\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/16daysoffeministactivism.wordpress.com\/\">16 Days of Feminist Activism Website<\/a>.
