I would like to hear from all of you. <a href=\"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/groups\/fall-2021-gws-100-170w\/forum\/topic\/proposed-course-adjustment\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/groups\/fall-2021-gws-100-170w\/forum\/topic\/proposed-course-adjustment\/\">Here is the link to respond<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The proposal for a change to our schedule\/grading:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You all have been doing so much writing and on the survey, you indicated an interest in a lot of topics. Therefore, I propose these&nbsp;<strong>two major changes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Get rid of the Midterm\/Final Combined paper and just have you do a short answer\/essay final where I would give you questions similar to the midterm and you would answer them, but you wouldn\u2019t have to make it in a paper form.<\/li><li>Adjust the schedule to account for that, which means we could cover a few more topics on which you would do a snapshot and response.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>This would change the grading slightly. Your <strong>current<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>grade breakdown<\/strong>&nbsp;is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Snapshots and Responses 50% of grade<\/li><li>Midterm 20% of grade<\/li><li>Final 20% of grade<\/li><li>Midterm\/Final Combined 10% of grade<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There are 11 Snapshots &amp; 11 Responses: 9 of each = A; 7 of each= B; 6 of each= C; 5 or fewer of each = D<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we change the schedule, this will be the&nbsp;<strong>changed grade breakdown<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Snapshots and Responses 60% of grade<\/li><li>Midterm 20% of grade<\/li><li>Final 20% of grade<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be 13 Snapshots &amp; 13 Responses: 11 of each = A; 9 of each= B; 7 of each= C; 6 or fewer of each = D<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please respond to the topic in the discussion board regarding changing our schedule.
