This week (and next Tuesday), we\u00a0 will be exploring one of the great tragedies of Western literature, <em>Oedipus the King, a <\/em>\u00a0Ancient Greek drama which raises powerful questions about free will and fate. I&#8217;m sure you will be intrigued by the complicated character of the doomed king.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essay 4<\/strong> must be submitted by the due date, Monday, August 12th so that I have time to review everyone&#8217;s essay. I must submit grades immediately after the course ends.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quiz 5<\/strong> is due midnight, Sunday, August 17.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The final quiz<\/strong> will be available from 9:00 Monday, August 18th through midnight, Tuesday, August 19th.
