Sometimes I would go and read poems or stories and realize that I didn\u2019t really understand the true meaning of the poem but when looking at the how to read a poem activity and the activity on Shakespeare also helped me to understand poems and poetry in general a lot better. I also learned about the Shakespearean sonnets which are split up into 3 sections while having 4 lines each while Italian sonnets don\u2019t seem to have any couplets, Shakespearean sonnets also wrap up the end of the third section by giving a brief line or two summary about what the message of the poem was.
