\u2022Feminism is a social, political, and cultural movement that advocates for the rights and equality of women.It was a movement created to shorten and erase the gap between both genders in society. It has largely been pretty successful at it as it has done things like get women the right to vote with the suffrage movement in the 1920s.I wouldn\u2019t consider myself a feminist but do support the movement some what since its basic human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022In \u201cWe Should All Be Feminists,\u201d Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie argues that feminism is essential for addressing gender inequalities that persist in society. She defines a feminist as someone who acknowledges the existing problems between the genders stating that \u201ca feminist is a man or woman who says there is a problem with the genders as it is today.\u201d Adichie emphasizes that feminism benefits everyone as it challenges restrictive gender roles and create a more suitable world for everyone .
