Students acquire the knowledge and analytical skills to better handle their own participation in our market system, as consumers, workers, taxpayers, entrepreneurs, and investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The field prepares more sophisticated citizens with a broader understanding of things like money, taxes and foreign  trade along with resource use and regulations. In addition, the field offers an unmatched foundation for careers in business, finance, insurance, real estate, consulting, law and the public sector.
