Soft pastel\non paper. 9 x 12 inches.) \nLike her, I found myself reading a lot, holed up in my apartment, during the early and most uncertain days of quarantine. I'm grateful to have had my daughter, my fiance, and my books. Unlike Vashti, I didn't really find myself longing for green space of my own, but did find a spot in Brooklyn Bridge Park that always seemed to be empty just for me. I used a sketch pad for this piece,and just manual No.2 pencil. I didn't use any color, as I found myself extremely depressed during this time, just beginning an anti depressant and anxiety rx regime, sobriety and quitting smoking after 19 years. During this period in particular, everything was grey. \" class=\"wp-image-5638\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":3731,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"portfolio_post_id":0,"portfolio_citation":"","portfolio_annotation":"","openlab_post_visibility":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[41],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-5637","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-week-5-seminar-project"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/ece-211-133-curriculum-for-young-children-1-fall-2021\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/5637","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/ece-211-133-curriculum-for-young-children-1-fall-2021\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/ece-211-133-curriculum-for-young-children-1-fall-2021\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/ece-211-133-curriculum-for-young-children-1-fall-2021\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/3731"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/ece-211-133-curriculum-for-young-children-1-fall-2021\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=5637"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/ece-211-133-curriculum-for-young-children-1-fall-2021\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/5637\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":5641,"href":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/ece-211-133-curriculum-for-young-children-1-fall-2021\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/5637\/revisions\/5641"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/ece-211-133-curriculum-for-young-children-1-fall-2021\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5637"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/ece-211-133-curriculum-for-young-children-1-fall-2021\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=5637"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/openlab.bmcc.cuny.edu\/ece-211-133-curriculum-for-young-children-1-fall-2021\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=5637"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
