Watch the video for each age group; if there is more than 1 child in the video, pick 1 child to be your “focus child”.<\/em><\/li>\n
Watch the video, focusing on:\n\n
The child’s appearance.\u00a0 Take notes describing the child’s hair color, style, types; skin tone; facial features; body type; clothing; and age of the child.<\/li>\n
The physical space\/setting where the observation occurred. Take notes describing the people, furniture, materials and\u00a0 equipment\u00a0 in the environment. Describe how the materials, equipment, and furniture are arranged or positioned in relation to each other.<\/li>\n
You can copy and paste the description of the child’s appearance from your 1st Observation Summary to your second and third Observation Summary Papers. Please make revisions to the sections based on the feedback you receive. <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
